“For more than 30 years I practiced Emergency Medicine where every day demanded careful observation and thoughtful decisions. Painting asks something different of me. In the studio ordinary flowers become opportunities to explore rhythm, color and quiet beauty. Rather than recording what I see, I paint what I discover as I look longer.”
